UPDATED: Temporary Closure of Pedestrian Bridge in Muskoseepi Park

Update: April 28, 3:00 p.m.

The pedestrian bridge near Mission Heights in Muskoseepi Park, south of Michaelis Boulevard, approximately at 79 Avenue, is now open. All the necessary repairs have been completed and the bridge is safe for use.

We want to thank the residents for their patience and understanding while we worked to fix the bridge.

The pedestrian bridge is closed near Mission Heights in Muskoseepi Park, south of Michaelis Boulevard, approximately at 79 Avenue.

On April 23, 2023, a vehicle struck the bridge. It is currently being assessed by a consultant to determine the extent of the damage and what repairs are necessary to make it safe for pedestrians to use.

This bridge is a vital part of the park and the City is committed to ensuring it is safe for residents to use. We ask for your patience and understanding as we work to make the necessary repairs.

The City will provide updates on the status of the bridge as soon as they become available.
