UPDATED: Power Outage Affecting City Facilities

Update as of February 23

Power has been restored and all City facilities have re-opened for public use. The City thanks residents for their patience and understanding during the closures. 

Update as of 3:10 p.m. on February 22

Power has been restored to the Ernie Radbourne Pavilion and the facility has reopened to the public. The Grande Prairie Museum phone and internet has also been restored. 

City on 99 has also been impacted by the power outage and the building is currently closed for walk-ins, please call 780-538-0380 for assistance. Enforcement Services, GPREP and the Mobile Outreach Department are operational and Community Social Development employees are currently working remotely.

The Ernie Radbourne Pavilion and Grande Prairie Activity and Reception Centre are currently closed due to an unexpected power outage.

The Grande Prairie Museum remains open with interruptions to phone and internet connections at the facility. No other City facilities have been impacted by the power outage at this time.

The City thanks visitors for their patience and understanding during the closures and will release an update once the facilities have reopened.
