The community is invited to celebrate the finale of the Eastlink Centre’s 10-year anniversary at the “One More Night: A Celebration of the Eastlink Centre” event on Sunday, December 11.

The event features free admission all day to the Eastlink Centre with a variety of free activities including:

• Bouncy castles and games in the fieldhouse
  • 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Fitness class showcase
  • 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• Drop-in public swimming
  • Starting at 1 p.m. in two-hour time slots
• Public skating with free rentals
  • 2:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Facility tours
  • Starting at 11 a.m.
• Scavenger hunt
• Special membership pricing
• Cupcake showdown featuring special guests and cake handout
  • Starting at 3:30 p.m.

Pre-registration for facility tours is required, register online at cityofgrandeprairie.perfectmind.com. All other anniversary activities are first-come, first-served.

Membership Giveaways & Special Pricing

Special membership pricing of 10 per cent off on December 11 can be redeemed by purchasing a six-month or one-year prepaid membership either in person or online on the anniversary day.

To redeem the discount online, use the promotional code ELC10 (case sensitive, use all capitals) during checkout at cityofgrandeprairie.perfectmind.com. The promotional code is only valid on December 11.

Student (18+) memberships must be purchased in person as a student identification is required.

Some of the activities include draws for giveaways in addition to the special pricing on memberships. Chances to enter and win include:

• Scavenger hunt: complete the facility scavenger hunt and return it to a welcome desk to be entered to win an Eastlink Centre six-month family membership. Only one entry per person.
• Food bank donation: bring a food bank donation to the Community Knowledge Campus welcome desks until December 11 to be entered to win a six-month adult membership.
• Social media giveaway: the final social media giveaway is on the Eastlink Centre Facebook page. The winner receives a bag filled with swag and an Eastlink Centre gift card.
