On Monday, October 24, the intersection of 110 Street and 104 Avenue is being converted to an all-way controlled stop.
Residents will see stop signs installed on all roads entering the intersection.
The change is warranted after an assessment of the intersection, traffic volumes, and sight lines. The addition of the all-way stop reduces traffic delays for all drivers who pass through that intersection.
Converting this intersection to an all-way stop aids transit users on routes 1 and 3 by reducing traffic delays and allowing users to arrive at their destinations on time.
- Route 1 runs eastbound along 104 Avenue and turns north onto 110 Street.
- Route 3 runs southbound on 110 Street and turns west onto 104 Avenue.
The City has placed signage on-site to inform drivers of the change.
