By-Election Day in the City of Grande Prairie is Monday, October 17 and residents are reminded to vote at their assigned voting station between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Residents will elect one City Councillor to fill a vacancy for the remainder of the current 4-year term, ending in 2025.
Candidates running for the position of City Councillor are:

- Erik Gault
- Kevin McLean
- Solomon Okifoh
- Bryan Petryshyn
- Wade Pilat
- Robin Rochon
- Frank Skolly
Candidates are currently in a campaign period, during this time residents may learn about each candidate prior to heading to the polls.
One day of Advance Voting remains and occurs on Saturday, October 15 between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. at Teresa Sargent Hall located in the Montrose Cultural Centre.
An interactive voting location map is available for viewing on the City website where residents can enter their address and determine their assigned voting location for By-Election Day. A list of voting locations is posted on the City website.
The Activity and Reception Centre will be closed on October 17, 2022 to accommodate voting.
