UPDATE NOW RE-OPENED: Several Amenities at Eastlink Centre Closed for Safety Precautions

Update as of 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 20: All amenities including the lazy river and waterslide are now open. 

Visitors are thanked for the patience and understanding during the closures


Update as of 3:50 p.m. on Monday, September 19: Both hot tubs are open. The lazy river and waterslide remain closed.

The wading pool will be unavailable 4:00 p.m.- 5:45 p.m. and the 25M pool will be unavailable 4:00 p.m.- 6:30 p.m. until Thursday to accommodate swimming lessons. 


Update as 0f 4:30 a.m. on Monday, September 19: All amenities with the exception of the lazy river, waterslide and family hot tub are now open. 


Update as of 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 18: All amenities with the exception of the family hot tub are now re-opened.

The City thanks the public for their patience and understanding during the closures. 


Update as of 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17: The adult hot tub is now included in this closure.


Update as of 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 17: The lazy river is now included in the temporary closures.


The splash park, wading pool, and family hot tub in the aquatics area at Eastlink Centre are closed until further notice due to contamination from accidental breakage of glass.

Public safety remains a priority. Facility staff are following proper protocols for dealing with contamination.

No risks to the public have been identified for those who have visited the facility today.

Patrons are reminded to refrain from bringing glass objects into the aquatics area.

All other pool amenities remain open and no aquatic programming including swimming lessons will be affected.

This closure is anticipated to last 24-48 hours.
