The City of Grande Prairie’s infrastructure projects continue to occur, with work on 108 Street and repairs to catch basins and manholes underway.
108 Street Upgrades
On Thursday, August 11, 108 Street north of 132 Avenue is closed to allow crews to complete upgrades to the existing gravel roadway.
Improvements include paving the roadway, installing a pedestrian pathway on the east side of 108 Street, and completing the traffic signal installation.
Traffic is required to take alternative routes such as 100 Street or 116 Street. Work is anticipated to be completed by the end of September.
