The Eastlink Centre is removing pre-booking and moving to drop-in only for public swim times starting on Monday, May 9.

Drop-in public swim is available during the following times:

• Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Fridays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
• Saturdays and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Select amenities at the indoor pool including lane swimming, sauna and steam rooms, river walk and hot tubs are available for drop-in from 6 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The wading pool is also available for drop-in from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Swim times remain scheduled to support additional aquatics programming for user groups, clubs and schools.

Shifting aquatics to drop-in allows more guests to enjoy more spontaneous fun when visiting the facility, and better meets community demand.

The update to drop-in only is made possible due to ongoing lifeguard recruitment so the facility can accommodate drop-in availability while ensuring health and safety of all patrons.
