The City of Grande Prairie is seeking input from residents about current recreation and culture opportunities to help guide the development of its Recreation and Culture Strategic Plan for the next 10 to 12 years.

An online survey is now open for residents to share their feedback on:

• The value of recreation and culture in Grande Prairie
• Personal participation rates
• Satisfaction with recreation and culture opportunities
• Future recreation and culture needs

The online survey is available at engage.cityofgp.com/rec_culture until March 18.

Households in Grande Prairie received a postcard in the mail with instructions on how to participate in the survey.

About the Recreation and Culture Strategic Plan

The City of Grande Prairie is creating a Recreation and Culture Strategic Plan that aims to enhance existing opportunities, address geographic distribution of services, identify barriers, and plan for investment in recreation and culture infrastructure.

The strategy will present specific framework and actions for the City to take to ensure effective and efficient delivery of recreation and culture services.
