The City of Grande Prairie is excited to launch Invest Grande Prairie, a reimagination of the City’s Economic Development department that builds on previous investment attraction and business retention and expansion activities.

The goal of Invest Grande Prairie is to highlight key sectors and investment opportunities to draw the attention of current and future investors with the potential to enhance Grande Prairie’s economy. Invest Grande Prairie also emphasizes the success and resilience of Grande Prairie businesses by telling the stories of local entrepreneurs and the creative ways they fill the community with jobs, services, entertainment, and more.

Grande Prairie residents will identify Invest Grande Prairie through it’s new logo and visual identity to be used across activities and initiatives that advance Grande Prairie’s economy and support business growth and prosperity. The new look represents Grande Prairie’s resilience in business and in heart, as well as ties to elements of Grande Prairie’s key industries, position as an economic driver for Alberta, and strategic location in Northwestern Alberta.

The reimagination to Invest Grande Prairie also includes:

• a relocation of Invest Grande Prairie staff to Centre 2000 to be better positioned to connect with the local business community.
• the launch of a new website and Facebook page that highlight Grande Prairie’s resilient economy and investment ready location.
