Parking bans on permanent snow routes have been lifted as of 9 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27.

The City thanks all residents for their cooperation during snow clearing efforts since parking bans began on January 2, 2019.

The parking bans began on January 2, since then the region experienced periods of heavy snow fall and extended cold snaps leading to crews using 8500 tonnes of sand, 2500 tonnes of salt and hauling 9621 loads of snow to the City Snow Dump.

Abiding by parking bans assists the City in plowing, sanding/salting, and hauling snow quickly and efficiently. We thank all residents for their patience and co-operation during snow removal efforts.
