On Sunday, June 24, 2018 construction begins in the intersection of 100 Avenue and 102 Street as part of the Downtown Rehabilitation and Streetscapes Project.

A partial closure of the intersection will occur for four to five days, followed by a full closure of the intersection for approximately an additional two weeks. The intersection will be impacted for an expected duration of three weeks in total.

Beginning Sunday, June 24, 2018 traffic at the intersection of 102 Street and 100 Avenue will be restricted to westbound only. No north or south through traffic will be permitted on 102 Street between 99 Avenue and 101 Avenue.

Motorists are encouraged to use 100 Street for north/south travel. Motorists are also encouraged to use 84 Avenue, 108 Avenue, or 116 Avenue to access the west side of the city.

Pedestrians can detour around the intersection using the west side of 102 Street. The contractor will be completing concrete work, milling and paving, and underground work on storm, sanitary, and water services.
