February 5, 2021:
City crews are plowing priority 1 and 2 roads and will continue to do so as snowfall occurs throughout the weekend.
Residential snow clearing:
Residential snow removal is currently occurring in the neighbourhoods of Arbour Hills, Copperwood, Crystal Lake Estates, Crystal Ridge, Gateway, Lakeland, Northridge, and Royal Oaks.
On Monday, contracted crews are scheduled to plow the neighbourhoods of Crystal Heights, Crystal Landing, Hillside, Ivy Lake Estates, Mountview, Summit, and VLA/Montrose.
Residential snow removal occurs in a two-week rotation from Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. If crews have not cleared your street in the first week, they will be back in the second week.
A parking ban remains in effect, residents are asked to remove vehicles from marked permanent snow routes to give snow removal equipment enough space to properly plow the road.
February 4, 2021:
- Residential Snow Clearing:
- Residential snow removal is currently occurring in the neighbourhoods of Mission Heights, O’Brien Lake, Pinnacle Ridge, Stone Ridge, and Westpointe.
- Tomorrow contracted crews will be plowing residential roads in the neighbourhoods of Arbour Hills, Copperwood, Crystal Lake Estates, Crystal Ridge, Gateway, Lakeland, Northridge, and Royal Oaks.
- Residential snow removal occurs in a two-week rotation from Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. If crews have not cleared your street in the first week, they will be back in the second week.
- Priority Roads are being plowed, sanded, and salted by City crews. They also continue to plow and sand the City's trail network.
- A parking ban is in effect on all permanent snow routes indicated by street signs.
February 3, 2021:
- A two-week round of residential snow clearing has been initiated.
- Today, contracted crews are plowing in the neighbourhoods of Avondale, Cobblestone, College Park, Fieldbrook, Highland Park, Riverstone, Smith, and Swanavon.
- Tomorrow, crews will be plowing in the neighbourhoods of Mission Heights, O’Brien Lake, Pinnacle Ridge, Stone Ridge, and Westpointe.
- The residential snow clearing program occurs from Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
- As of today, a parking ban is in effect on all permanent snow routes. Parking on priority 2 routes is not permitted to allow safe and effective snow clearing operations.
- City crews continue to plow, sand, and salt priority 1 and 2 routes as well as the City's trail network.

February 2, 2021:
- City crews are responding to the latest snowfall by plowing all priority routes throughout the City.
- Ice control, including sanding and salting on all priority routes, is ongoing.
