West Fraser Fieldhouse

Organized sports have found their home at the Fieldhouse. Our popular court space allows for the playing of athletic sports such as basketball, futsal, badminton, volleyball, floor hockey and we are always adding to the selection.

Specific sports are scheduled at various times to allow for structured games. Or you can drop in at other times throughout the day. Check out our monthly schedule for all the activities that run, or find out when it's a good time to drop in.

Activity Descriptions

Basketball

Two teams play against each other to try and shoot a ball through a hoop for points. Learn more about basketball on Wikipedia.

Volleyball

Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules.  Learn more about volleyball on Wikipedia.

Badminton and Pickleball

Badminton is a racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. Pickleball is identical except the net is much lower.  Learn more about Badminton on Wikipedia.

Futsal

Futsal is like soccer played on a hard surface, with a smaller and more rigid ball. Learn more about Futsal on Wikipedia.

Floor Hockey

Just like hockey, but played on a dry floor. Learn more about Floor Hockey on Wikipedia.

Table Tennis

Also known as ping pong. The game takes place on a hard table divided by a net. Players use rigid paddles to volley the ping pong ball back and forth. Learn more about Table Tennis on Wikipedia.

Imagination Playground

Children are invited to explore the world of imagination playground in a drop in / free play environment with children ages 3-8 years old. A clubhouse attendant is always available for questions and concerns. Wristbands and parental supervision for children under 8 years old is required in the Fieldhouse. For health and safety reasons flip flops or bare feet are not allowed, everyone is encouraged to bring clean indoor footwear play in the Fieldhouse.

Tot Blocks

Imaginations grow with big over-sized blocks to create fantasy worlds. The Soft Block Set is over-sized, soft foam building blocks.
