On May 25, the City begins construction in the Crystal Heights area, weather permitting, as part of the City road rehabilitation program.

The work planned for the area consists of an asphalt milling and replacement of the existing road structure with a new pavement structure, some concrete work and minor storm sewer infrastructure repairs on 105 Avenue, 91A Street, and 107 Avenue.

It is anticipated that crews will operate from Monday to Saturday. Roadway access will be granted to local traffic only and short-term road closures are expected periodically.

Construction continues until the end of July.

Throughout construction, the posted speed limit will be reduced to 30km/h. Drivers are reminded to drive with caution around work crews.

The City appreciates everyone’s patience and understanding during construction.

Note: A previous version of this press release incorrectly identified the work as occurring in Ivy Lake Estates.
