The City of Grande Prairie is excited to announce the return of Heritage Village Folktales Tour this year on October 14 and 15 at the Grande Prairie Museum in the Heritage Village.

The Heritage Village Folktales Tour, put on in partnership with the South Peace Regional Archives and the Seniors Reading Theatre, is a guided outdoor evening walking tour featuring stories about local history with both fact and fictional elements.

Tours last one hour and 15 minutes each and are primarily outdoors. Dates and start times for the Heritage Village Folktales Tour include:

  • Friday, October 14 at 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, October 15 at 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

With stories ranging from spooky to curious, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Ticket Information

Tickets must be purchased in advance and are available online at cityofgp.com/folktales for $25 per person.

The recommended age for this event is 16+. Guests are asked to dress appropriately for the weather as the event is held outdoors.
