68 Avenue has been cleared and traffic is now flowing.

Original Statement: 8:20 a.m. 

Due to a train derailment, East and West traffic at 68 Avenue between 92 Street and Resources Road is blocked.

CN Rail has been in contact with the City and is dispatching crews to work on the derailment from outside of Grande Prairie. There is no estimated time of completion.

Transit service to Country Side South is not available due to the derailment.

All drivers must reroute along 92 Street or Resources Road to 100 Avenue for East to West travel.
