City facilities have adjusted hours of operation on Friday, September 30 in recognition of the statutory holiday for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Facility hours are as follows:
- City Hall: Closed
- City Service Centre: Closed
- Ernie Radbourne Pavilion at Muskoseepi Park: 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Eastlink Centre: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Coca-Cola Centre: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Bonnetts Energy Centre: Open starting at 3 p.m. for Professional Bull Riding
- Montrose Cultural Centre: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (gallery closed)
- Grande Prairie Museum and Heritage Village: Closed
- Dave Barr Community Centre: Closed
- Activity and Reception Centre: Closed
Transit will operate on Friday, September 30 on holiday hours of 8:46 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
The City encourages residents to take part in the community events being organized to commemorate National Day for Truth and Reconciliation to reflect on ongoing reconciliation efforts and relationship with the Indigenous community.
