Drivers travelling on 116 Street between 100 Avenue and 132 Avenue should expect delays of up to 20 minutes at a time from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on September 17 to 18 and September 18 to 19.

Crews are completing paving as part of the ongoing 116 Street road rehabilitation project. Lane reductions and alternating traffic will be in place as needed while work moves through the area.

116 Street will remain open, but drivers are strongly encouraged to use an alternate route where possible and allow additional travel time.

Digital signage is in place to alert drivers to the expected delays.

The work is scheduled during evening and nighttime hours to reduce impacts during busier daytime travel. Construction schedules are weather dependent and may change.
