Residential street sweeping operations: Week of June 15

Residential street sweeping is officially underway in Grande Prairie.

Today's operations:

  • Four street sweepers are working in residential areas.
  • Crews are starting the Week A rotation in Hillside, Mountview and VLA/Montrose.
  • Crews expect to complete these neighbourhoods today, weather depending. 

What residents should know:

  • Residential street sweeping follows the same Week A and Week B rotation used during residential snow clearing.
  • The schedule is a guideline and may change due to weather, equipment issues or operational needs.
  • If an area cannot be completed as planned, crews will return after the initial Week A and Week B rotation is complete.
  • Moving vehicles off the street from 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on your scheduled day helps crews complete a more thorough clean-up.
