Eastlink Centre Aquatics Impacts on December 19 and 20

The City of Grande Prairie is excited to host the Piranhas Christmas Cracker Swim Meet at the Eastlink Centre on Saturday, December 20.

During the event, the aquatics area will remain open to the public, however some amenities will have limited availability as follows:

Friday, December 19 

  • Springboards: Unavailable all day
  • Dive Tank and Dive Towers: Unavailable from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • 50-Metre Competition Pool: Limited lane swim from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Saturday, December 20 

  • Diving boards: Unavailable from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
  • 50-Metre Competition Pool: Limited lane swim from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • FlowRider: Unavailable from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Visitors are reminded that the 50-metre competition pool will be cooler than usual during the swim meet to support the participating athletes.

All other aquatics amenities will remain open as listed on the regular schedule. To view the schedule and plan the best time to visit, please visit cityofgp.com/schedules.
