- Residential Touch-ups: Snow and ice clearing is underway in Friday’s “Week A” neighbourhoods: Arbour Hills, Gateway, Northridge, Royal Oaks and Westgate.
- Priority Road Ice Control: All sanding equipment continue to patrol the city today, sanding and plowing where needed.
- Priority Road Clearing: Crews are loading and removing windrows on Pinnacle Drive. Blading and windrow removal is underway in Royal Oaks and Northridge.
- Parking Lots: Crews are plowing City facility parking lots.
Residential Snow Clearing
Residential clearing is complete once crews have finished clearing today’s areas. Temporary parking bans are still in place until 5 p.m. today in Arbour Hills, Gateway, Northridge, Royal Oaks and Westgate. Please ensure your vehicles are removed from the road even if crews are not currently in your area.
Parking Bans
Permanent snow route parking bans are now lifted on Priority 1 and 2 routes.
December 19:
- Residential Touch-ups: Snow and ice clearing is underway in Thursday’s “Week A” neighbourhoods: Kensington, Mission Heights, O’Brien Lake and Stone Ridge.
- Priority Road Ice Control: Sanding crews continue to patrol the city today, sanding where needed.
- Priority Road Clearing: Snow storage is being cleared from the turning lanes on Wespointe Drive and 84 Avenue. Arrow Board Trucking is on site directing traffic around the work zone. Clean up continues into Priority 2 roads in Westpoint, Pinnacle and O’Brien Lake.
- Parking Lots: Crews continue to haul snow piles from various City facility parking lots throughout the city.
December 18:
- Residential Touch-ups: “Week A” neighbourhoods that saw fresh snowfall after the initial clearing are being revisited to address ice build-up caused by warmer temperatures and freezing rain. Today, work is underway in Wednesday’s “Week A” areas: Avondale, College Park and Swanavon.
- Priority Road Ice Control: Sanding crews are patrolling the city and applying sand to areas as needed. Plowing will begin once there is enough snow accumulation to make plowing effective.
- Priority Road Clearing: Crews are back in yesterday’s residential areas loading windrows on priority roads. Blading is underway in Highland Park and Swanavon. Curb lines are being managed on main routes.
- Parking Lots: Crews continue to haul snow piles from various City facility parking lots throughout the city.
December 17:
- Residential Touch-ups: “Week A” neighbourhoods that saw fresh snowfall after the initial clearing are being revisited to address ice build-up caused by warmer temperatures and freezing rain. Today, work is underway in Tuesday’s “Week A” areas: Patterson, South Patterson and Southview.
- Priority Road Ice Control: Sanding crews are patrolling Priority 1 routes throughout the city.
- Priority Road Clearing: Blading and windrow collection is underway in Patterson and Country Club Estates today.
- Parking Lots: Crews continue to haul snow piles from various City facility parking lots throughout the city.
Residential Snow Clearing Update:
Crews are revisiting “Week A” neighbourhoods this week, to address additional snowfall received after the initial two-week clearing rotation. Temporary no-parking signs will be posted in these areas—please move vehicles off the street as soon as signs are in place to avoid tickets and allow crews to work efficiently.
If time allows, crews may also address ice build-up in other neighbourhoods. If you see snow clearing equipment in your area, please help by moving your vehicle off the street.

- Residential Touch-ups: Crews are addressing missed areas and touching up areas of concern in Monday "Week B" neighbourhoods: Crystal Heights, Crystal Landing, Summit and Ivy Lake Estates.
- Priority Road Ice Control: Sanding crews are patrolling Priority 1 routes following the weekend’s snowfall.
- Priority Road Clearing: Blading and hauling are underway on Priority 1 routes, focusing on 102 Street, 96 Street and 108 Avenue.
- Parking Lots: Crews are hauling snow piles from various City facility parking lots throughout the city.
