The lazy river and water slides reopen for public use starting at 7 p.m. tonight, October 29, during public swim. The water in the lazy river will continue to rise in heat throughout the evening, so guests should expect colder water temperatures than usual tonight.

The City thanks visitors for their patience and is excited to open the amenities for an evening of splashing fun!

The lazy river and both the green and beige waterslides in the aquatics area of the Eastlink Centre are temporarily closed starting at noon on Sunday, October 27 for further spot repairs to the liner near the water jets.

The amenities are expected to re-open by Wednesday, October 30. The lazy river needs to fully drain to complete the repairs and remains temporarily closed until the work is complete and the river is refilled.

Drop-in fitness classes scheduled for the lazy river will move to other areas of aquatics, based on availability. 

The City will provide an update once the work is complete and the amenities have re-opened for public use. Visitors are thanked for their support and understanding during the impacts.
