The 25 metre program pool at the Eastlink Centre will open for public swim time at 12 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday, October 28, ahead of it’s planned re-opening date of November 6.

The program pool is the final amenity in the aquatics area to re-open following the annual aquatics maintenance shutdown, which wrapped up on October 23.

Some of the projects completed during the shutdown include:

• Sound attenuation panel installation.
• 3,100 square metres of re-surfaced pool deck.
• Re-painted pool basin lines in the 50 metre competition pool.
• Complete refurbishment of the 25 metre pool liner.

The City is very excited to have everyone back on deck and looks forward to visitors experiencing all the upgrades made during the annual aquatics maintenance shutdown.
