City facilities have adjusted hours of operation on Saturday, July 1 and Monday, July 3 in recognition of the Canada Day statutory holiday.
Saturday, July 1
Facility hours on Saturday, July 1 are as follows:
- City Hall: Closed
- City Service Centre: Closed
- Aquatera Outdoor Pool: FREE drop-in swimming from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. in two-hour waves.
- Ernie Radbourne Pavilion at Muskoseepi Park: 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Eastlink Centre: Closed
- Design Works Centre: Closed to public access, open for tournament.
- Bonnetts Energy Centre: Open 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. for The Monster Canada inflatable obstacle course.
- Montrose Cultural Centre: Closed
- Grande Prairie Museum: Closed
- Dave Barr Community Centre: Closed
- Activity and Reception Centre: Closed
- City on 99: Closed
Transit will operate for FREE on Canada Day with regular service running from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and On-Demand/Accessible service between any stops within Grande Prairie from 9:15 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Book on-demand and accessible transit services until 12:30 a.m. (for service until 1 a.m.) on Saturday, July 1 online at gpmyride.app.ridewithvia.com, through the Grande Prairie My Ride app or by calling dispatch at 780-830-RIDE(7433).
Monday, July 3
Most City facilities operate under regularly scheduled hours on Monday, July 3, with the following facilities/amenities CLOSED:

- City Service Centre
- City on 99
- Activity & Reception Centre
- PlayCare at the Eastlink Centre
- Dave Barr Community Centre
- Bonnetts Energy Centre box office
The City is hosting a free Canada Day event, presented by New Horizon Co-op, on Saturday, July 1. Residents are invited to come celebrate with fun activities for all ages from bounce houses to live entertainment and much more.
