Parking lanes on 110 Street, one block north of 109 Avenue and adjacent to the Maskwa Medical Centre construction site, are closed effective immediately to support excavation work.
During this phase, truck traffic and equipment may limit visibility. For the safety of visitors and workers, parking lanes on both the northbound and southbound sides of the street are closed. A 30 km/h speed limit, barriers and signage are being installed this week. Flaggers will be used when trucks are crossing the road.
Parking in signed no-parking zones or removing barricades is not permitted and may result in enforcement.
The closure is expected to last into September. Additional closures may occur as the project progresses. Visitors are reminded that paid parking is available in the nearby hospital parkade.
