UPDATE – September 15, 2025: Due to weather, work at 116 Street & 104 Avenue was not completed last night. Crews will continue overnight tonight. The intersection will function as a four-way stop while work is underway.
The City of Grande Prairie is advising commuters of upcoming traffic signal repair work at the following intersections:
- 116 Street and 104 Avenue.
- 116 Street and 132 Avenue.
Work is scheduled to begin Saturday, September 13, and is expected to take one to two nights to complete, project depending.
This work is scheduled overnight to reduce impacts to traffic. During the repairs, the affected intersections will operate as four-way stops. Crews are expected on-site at approximately 4 p.m. to prepare to site before beginning the signal work at 8 p.m.
Drivers are reminded to follow all posted signage and proceed with caution.
Some noise is expected during the overnight work.
