Starting Monday, Oct.12, the left northbound lane on the 108 Street bridge is scheduled to close continuously for approximately seven to 10 days to accommodate ongoing structural repairs. The timing of closure is weather dependent.
Crews are repairing girders, which are the large structural beams underneath the bridge that support the roadway and the weight of traffic.
The left northbound lane must remain closed throughout the repair and curing process to prevent the weight and vibrations from passing vehicles affecting the repairs. The closure remains in place even when crews are not actively working on site to allow the repaired materials to properly cure.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time and follow all posted traffic signs.
This work is part of the City's 2026 Bridge Repair and Maintenance Program. Residents can learn more about the program at cityofgp.com/capitalconstruction.
The City thanks residents for their patience while this important bridge maintenance work is completed.
