Eastlink Centre facility impacts May 6 & 9 for 2024 National Aboriginal Hockey Championships

The third floor track is no longer affected by the RBC Training Ground event and is available for public use.


The City looks forward to being the first Alberta city to host the National Aboriginal Hockey Championships (NAHC). To help accommodate activities happening as part of the event, guests are advised of the following facility impacts at the Eastlink Centre:

  • May 6: West Fraser Fieldhouse and third-floor track unavailable from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. for RBC Training Ground event. 
  • May 9: Full facility closure beginning at 6 p.m. until closing (9 p.m.).

NAHC features a full week of action and activities with all hockey games being free to attend! Come out to support the 14 different teams of Indigenous youth from across the country at this year’s NAHC.
