The Eastlink Centre is hosting the Piranhas Summer Sizzler and Aquarians Invitational swim meets on Friday, June 20 and Saturday, June 21. 

During the event, aquatics at the Eastlink Centre remains open with limited public swim times that include the following amenity impacts to accommodate the competition:

• 50-Metre Competition Pool
  • Friday, June 20: limited short-course lane swim from 2 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 21: Limited availability all day.
• Diving Boards
  • Friday, June 20: Unavailable from 2:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 21: Unavailable all day. 
  • Sunday, June 22: Unavailable all day. 
• Dive Towers:
  • Friday, June 20: Unavailable from 2:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 21: Unavailable all day. 
• FlowRider
  • Friday, June 20: Unavailable from 2 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 21: Unavailable from 12 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Aquatics is also unavailable for the last hour of the day (7:30 pm. to 8:30 p.m.) this Sunday, June 22 for an aquatics staff meeting.

Visitors are reminded of the City’s new AccessNow tool, an online dashboard showing the status of all amenities in the Eastlink Centre and Design Works Centre as either available, partially available or unavailable. While certain impacts are listed below, residents are encouraged to check AccessNow for any amenity impacts before their visit.
