City Hall extends hours for property tax payments

The City of Grande Prairie reminds property owners that 2026 property tax payments must be received by Tuesday, June 30, 2026, to avoid penalties.

To assist residents in meeting the deadline, the Taxation Department at City Hall (10205 98 Street) will offer extended service hours on the following dates:

  • Monday, June 29: 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The extended hours apply to the Taxation Department only. All other City Hall services will continue to operate during regular business hours, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Property tax payments can be made:

  • Through your financial institution using online banking
  • Online using Visa or MasterCard through the City's access.cityofgp.com eServices portal (a 2.25% convenience fee applies)
  • By cheque or debit at City Hall.

Residents paying online through their financial institution or by credit card should allow 2 to 3 business days for payments to be processed and received by the City. Payments must be received by Tuesday, June 30 to avoid penalties.
