City facilities have adjusted hours of operation on Monday, August 5 in recognition of the Heritage Day statutory holiday.
Facility hours on Monday, August 5 are as follows:
- City Hall: Closed.
- City Service Centre: Closed.
- Ernie Radbourne Pavilion at Muskoseepi Park: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Aquatera Outdoor Pool: 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Eastlink Centre: Closed.
- Design Works Centre: Closed.
- Bonnetts Energy Centre: Closed.
- Montrose Cultural Centre: Closed.
- Grande Prairie Museum: Closed.
- Dave Barr Community Centre: Closed.
- Activity and Reception Centre: Closed.
- Cedar Point: Closed.
Transit will operate on Heritage Day, August 5, on holiday hours, the same as Sunday operational hours, of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for regular service. Late night on-demand service operates from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The City is hosting its free annual Heritage Day event, on Saturday, August 3 at the Grande Prairie Museum.
Visitors are invited to come out and celebrate culture and diversity at this year’s event, featuring old fashioned games, interactive demonstrations like ropemaking and cultural/community booths.
