Alternating lane closures in effect for road work on 116 Avenue at 102 Street

The City of Grande Prairie advises residents and motorists that road repair work has begun on 116 Avenue at 102 Street and is expected to continue until September 17, 2025.

This is warranty work being completed to improve roadway safety and quality.

Construction details:

  • Hours of work: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily
  • Traffic impact: Alternating lane closures will be in place in both westbound and eastbound directions. Drivers are reminded to follow posted signage and use caution through the work zone.
  • Transit service: No impacts to transit operations are expected.
  • Pedestrian access: Pedestrian access will remain open.
