Road overlay improvements are expected to begin next week in select areas of Royal Oaks and Northridge as part of the City of Grande Prairie’s 2026 capital construction season.
The project includes asphalt milling and overlay, concrete spot repairs and minor storm sewer repairs to help maintain roadway conditions and extend the life of existing infrastructure.
Work areas include:
- 121 Avenue
- 123 Avenue
- 120A Avenue loop roadway
- 103 Street
- 103A Street
- 103B Street
- Sections of 108 Street
Residents can expect temporary traffic impacts, parking restrictions and intermittent access adjustments during construction. Notification letters have been distributed to impacted properties.
This work is part of the City’s ongoing investment in maintaining and renewing transportation infrastructure throughout Grande Prairie.
