(Grande Prairie, Alta. – October 15, 2025) – The Eastlink Centre is turning movie night into a pool party with a new Dive-In Movie series running once a month through December.
The first feature, Hotel Transylvania, hits the big screen on Friday, October 24. Guests can float in the pool or relax in the stands to enjoy this Halloween favourite in a fun and festive setting. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the movie starts at 7:45 p.m.
“Dive-in movies are such a fun way to bring the community together and make lasting memories,” said Angela Redding, Director of Recreation. “We’re thrilled to offer this series through the fall and winter as a new and creative way for families and friends to enjoy the facility.”

- $8 – In-water admission (bring your own float or rent one)
- $4 – Float rental add-on
- $8 – Spectator seating in the bleachers
Guests without a float must watch from the bleachers. Space is limited, and pre-registration is encouraged online, by calling 311 or in person at Guest Services.
The movie takes place in the 50m competition pool with lifeguards on duty throughout the evening. Food and drinks are permitted in the spectator seating area only. Parents and caregivers of children ages 8 and above are also welcome to use the fitness centre, sauna or steam room during the show.
The next Dive-In Movie is scheduled for Friday, November 28, with December’s feature and date to be announced.
