(Grande Prairie, Alta. – September 26, 2025) – The Folktales Tour returns to the Grande Prairie Museum’s Heritage Village on October 17 and 18. Guests are invited on a guided outdoor evening walk featuring a mix of historical tales and fictional stories to set the mood for the Halloween season.
This year’s stories were developed in collaboration with the City of Grande Prairie, Generations Readers Theatre and the Disturbing the Peace podcast.
“The Folktales Tour has become a staple of our Halloween celebrations, bringing people together to share in our folklore and traditions,” said City of Grande Prairie Mayor Jackie Clayton. “We invite the community to embrace the season with an evening of eerie stories that highlight both the spirit of Halloween and the character of our community.”
