The City is cranking up the celebrations in Muskoseepi Park this Canada Day with Alberta-born, double-platinum selling country star Aaron Goodvin headlining the celebrations on July 1. 

With a dynamic stage presence and chart-topping hits such as Lonely Drum, 2018 CCMA Songwriter of the Year Aaron Goodvin brings serious star power to this year’s event. Born in Spirit River, he's returning to the region to help his home community celebrate in a big way on the Canada Day stage.

"We’re excited to welcome Aaron Goodvin back to the Peace Country for another performance that’s sure to be unforgettable," said City of Grande Prairie Mayor, Jackie Clayton. "Hosting a talent of this calibre, who also has deep local roots, makes this year’s Canada Day a powerful celebration of both national pride and community connection."

Live music kicks off at the amphitheatre beginning at 3:30 p.m. with the following artists performing throughout the evening:

• TJ Ruckus.
• Hey Driver.
• Brad Sims.
• Aaron Goodvin.

This year’s Canada Day lineup offers something for every musical taste, creating a vibrant atmosphere for both residents and visitors. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and enjoy an evening of live performances in the heart of Muskoseepi Park.
