The City of Grande Prairie advises residents that the current residential snow clearing rotation is concluding effective end of day Monday, March 30.
Due to forecasted warmer temperatures, crews have reassessed conditions and will be shifting efforts toward snowmelt management and snow storage removal to support drainage across the community. This change allows for more effective use of heavy equipment and resources as spring conditions develop.
As a result, the temporary on-street parking restrictions associated with the residential snow clearing program will also end after today.
Crews will continue removing windrows on priority routes. The existing priority road parking restrictions remain in effect Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., and residents are reminded to follow posted signage in these areas.
