The City of Grande Prairie has expanded its On-Demand Transit service to include a new stop in Meadowview Mobile Home Park.

On-Demand Transit is part of the City’s Community Bus Services, which provide convenient and accessible transit options to meet a variety of community needs.

Riders can book trips up to three days in advance, or on the same day of travel if scheduled within 30 minutes of your pickup time. On-Demand Transit connects residents to other on-demand stops or the City’s four main transit hubs — Towne Centre Mall, Prairie Mall, Community Knowledge Campus and Northwestern Polytechnic — where they can transfer to regular transit routes. “This new stop makes it easier for Meadowview residents to get where they need to go, whether it’s work, recreation, appointments or shopping,” said City of Grande Prairie Mayor, Jackie Clayton. “Enhancing connections between neighbourhoods and transit hubs is one of the many ways the City supports an inclusive, caring community where all residents are supported.”

The service operates seven days a week and is available to all residents.
