Intermunicipal Agreements: Multisport Dome Contribution & Expanded Facilities Framework 

Council directed Administration to execute the City County Multisport Dome Capital Contribution Agreement; and the Recreation and Culture New or Expanded Facilities Agreement.

Invest Northwest

Council supported formalizing Invest NW as a corporation with Part 9 legal structure as an economic development entity for the Grande Prairie/Greenview region in equal partnership with the County of Grande Prairie and the MD of Greenview. Council also directed Administration to include the City of Grande Prairie’s 1/3 share funded at $150K (from existing economic development funding) for the 2026 Budget.

Muskoseepi Pond Lighting 

Council approved the Muskoseepi Pond Lighting project and allocated $20,000 from the Community Enhancement Reserve to the project. 

The Community Enhancement Fund is designed to aid any project that will enhance the attractiveness and livability of the City. Projects within this fund help attract and foster community pride, demonstrate civic maturity, promote tourism and economic development, inspire innovation and build legacies.
