Food truck parking applications open April 19 for food truck vendors looking to operate at City of Grande Prairie facilities over the summer.

Eligible locations include:

• Muskoseepi Park
• South Bear Creek Park
• Avondale Park
• Lion’s Park
• Community Knowledge Campus
• Dave Barr Community Centre
• Montrose Cultural Centre
• Centre 2000

Vendors can apply for locations online by visiting the Mobile Food Concession Parking Application in the Permit Library on cityofgp.com.

Applicants may submit requests for the entire season. A schedule will be formed based on availability and requests received. After the initial application process, requests throughout the season will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

The season will run through August with possible extension into September.

All interested food truck vendors must meet the City of Grande Prairie requirements, hold a valid permit, and abide by all provincial health regulations as listed on alberta.ca/covid.

The deadline to apply for seasonal parking requests is May 2.

The City of Grande Prairie looks forward to reviewing applications and welcoming food trucks back into our community spaces for the season.
