(Grande Prairie, Alta. – November 4, 2025) – The City of Grande Prairie is inviting qualified and experienced vendors to submit detailed proposals for the lease and operation of a commercial concession space, as well as event catering services, at the Design Works Centre.

Located at #6 Knowledge Way, the concession space offers high visibility and consistent traffic from sports and recreation groups, families, high school students and community event attendees. The successful proponent will provide a variety of hot and cold menu items and have the ability to offer catering and alcohol sales for meeting rooms and events within the facility.

A non-mandatory site meeting will take place at the Design Works Centre on November 5 at 10:00 a.m. to allow interested vendors to view the space and ask questions.

This opportunity provides a chance for a local business to engage with a busy community hub and enhance the experience for visitors and event participants.
