The City of Grande Prairie is advising motorists of a temporary westbound lane closure on the 100 Avenue bridge on Tuesday, Oct. 20, for a detailed inspection.

A specialized inspection truck will be used to access the bridge’s piers and girders, which are key structural components.

The inspection is expected to take approximately six hours between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. One westbound lane will remain open to traffic.

Motorists are asked to use caution, follow posted signage and allow extra travel time.
