Fall residential street sweeping begins today in Hillside, Mountview and VLA/Montrose.

This week’s operations:

• Monday, October 5: Hillside, Mountview and VLA/Montrose

• Tuesday, October 6: Patterson, South Patterson and Southview

• Wednesday, October 7: Avondale, College Park and Swanavon/Highland Park North

• Thursday, October 8: Kensington, Mission Heights, O’Brien Lake and Stone Ridge

• Friday, October 9: Arbour Hills, Gateway, Northridge, Royal Oaks and Westgate

What residents should know:

• The schedule is a general guide and may change due to weather, equipment issues or operational needs.

• Moving vehicles off the street from 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. when equipment is working in the area helps crews complete a more thorough sweep.
