The City of Grande Prairie is collecting feedback from residents as part of its Storm Drainage Master Plan (SDMP). The plan is a technical study undertaken by a consultant on behalf of the City once every five years and provides guidance on prioritizing and determining the scope of storm related capital projects. Sameng is undertaking the project on behalf of the City.

“The Storm Drainage Master Plan is an important element in supporting and fostering growth and development to ensure residents receive the appropriate level of service,” said Mayor Jackie Clayton.  “The feedback collected will help us prioritize and plan storm-related projects that enhance our community's well-being for years to come.”

Public Open House

Residents are invited to participate in the public open house to share feedback on storm drainage impacts and improvements. 

Date: Wednesday, October 18, 2023

Time: 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Location: Ernie Radbourne Pavilion – Muskoseepi Park

Storm Drainage Master Plan Survey

Community members are also encouraged to share their feedback online through the Storm Drainage Master Plan survey until October 22.
