The City of Grande Prairie is commencing the 2023 Sidewalk Program, aimed at improving pedestrian safety and accessibility throughout the community. This program involves the construction of a new sidewalk and the enhancement of existing ones in various locations across the city.
The program is expected to kick off in early June and last until late July, weather permitting.
Phase 1:
- 100 Street Service Road from McDonald’s to 121 Avenue
- 121 Avenue from Crystal Ridge Road to 95B Street
- Juno Crossing from 93 Street to 92C Street
- 76 Avenue from Poplar Drive to Resources Road, extending the sidewalk on the south side of 76 Avenue from Poplar Drive to the east
Phase 2:
- 100 Street Frontage Road from 108 Avenue to 109 Avenue
- 109 Avenue from 100 Street to 99 Street
- 96 Avenue from 92 Street to 93 Street
- 92B Street from 95 Avenue to 96 Avenue
