The City of Grande Prairie’s Returning Officer has confirmed the official results of the 2025 Municipal Election.
As part of the official verification process that follows the release of unofficial results, all vote counts were reviewed and confirmed in accordance with the Local Authorities Election Act. Official results confirm that all ballots have been verified and the final vote counts certified by the City’s Returning Officer.

Jackie Clayton has officially been re-elected as Mayor of the City of Grande Prairie with 3,491 votes.
The following individuals have been elected to serve as City Councillors for the City of Grande Prairie (listed alphabetically):
- AUGER, Leonard (3,421 votes)
- BERG, Grant (4,966 votes)
- BRESSEY, Dylan (4,446 votes)
- FLACH, Jena (3,460 votes)
- O’CONNOR, Mike (2,890 votes)
- O’TOOLE, Kevin (2,925 votes)
- PILAT, Wade (3,213 votes)
- THIESSEN, Chris (2,887 votes)
This review resulted in minor adjustments to candidate totals but did not alter the final outcome of the election.
A total of 9,568 residents cast their ballots in this year’s municipal election.
Results for the Public and Catholic School Board Trustees will be posted on the City website at cityofgp.com/election-results and on the Grande Prairie Public School Division and Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools webpages.
