The City of Grande Prairie is proud to announce the completion of the new turf installation at our lawn bowling facility located in Muskoseepi Park.
"Enhancing recreational facilities is one part of Council's strategic priority of improving residents' Quality of Life,” said Grande Prairie Mayor Jackie Clayton. “The new lawn bowling turf demonstrates our commitment to providing amenities that foster community engagement and promote a healthy, active lifestyle."
The City is committed to providing recreational facilities that cater to the diverse needs of our residents and visitors. This upgrade enhances the quality and experience for all lawn bowling enthusiasts and event hosts in our community.
The lawn bowling facility will be open for bookings and equipment rentals starting after Canada Day on July 2. All inquiries will be managed through the Ernie Radbourne Pavilion. The current hours are 10 am to 8 pm daily.
After-hours rental requests will go through Guest Services. For any rental, please ensure to book at least three days in advance.
The Lawn Bowling Clubhouse is designed to host up to 12 people comfortably, while the expansive outdoor greenspace can welcome up to 100 guests. This makes our facility an ideal location for a wide range of events, including birthday parties, corporate events, family get-togethers, and lawn games.
