Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) Endorsement

Council endorsed Mayor Clayton to stand for election on the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ Board of Directors for the period starting June 2024 and ending June 2025. 

Council will assume all costs associated with Mayor Clayton attending FCM’s Board of Director meetings.

Decommissioning Playgrounds

Council passed an amendment to the Playground Strategy to add criteria for Decommissioning Playgrounds. 

Multi-Family Residential Developments 

Council directed administration to bring back a report to the appropriate standing committee identifying opportunities for support/rebates in multi-family residential developments.
