The construction of a new pedestrian trail begins tomorrow in the Hillside neighbourhood.  

The construction area on 104 Avenue between 92 Street and 93 Street will be closed to the public until all work is completed. The expected construction completion date is October 31st, 2019. Work zones will be signed and barricaded in the interest of public safety.

The City reminds the public to remain cautious of workers who may be present in the construction area. Please obey all signage and proceed with caution.

Background Information

The Hillside ARP establishes vision for the future development of the neighbourhood. One of the policies in the ARP is for the City to consider the development of trails and sidewalks in Hillside that will create a more connected network. This project shall not only improve connectivity within the neighbourhood, but also to the adjoining neighbourhoods east of Hillside.
